IMSE dean and assistant dean
Joining the summary presentation of IMSE 4th year oversea training student at Tokyo University of the Arts
More than 3 years that IMSE has collaborated with the Department of Music Creativity and Environment, Tokyo University of the Arts. Which is one of the leading universities in Japan that produce successful people to work in various art fields and have a great reputation. Each IMSE 2nd-year student will have a chance to visit the sound laboratory at this university. This year is the first time that 4th-year students have a chance to be the trainee of an oversea training project for 3 months. Some IMSE 4th-year students have an opportunity to work with master and doctoral degree students and also join many interesting classes with Japanese students, for example, advance mixing technique, sound for games and 3D audio. Must thank you Prof. Kamekawa and Prof. Marui in which they have supported our students for over three months. We received good feedback since our students have a great foundation skill. And one of our staff, Mr. Kajornsak, has a chance to present his research and receive an ensure from Prof. Kamekawa that is quite interesting and he has pleased to be a supervisor for Mr.Kajornsak research in the future. This is the closing of the two successful oversea training student jobs (Waseda U., Tokyo U. of the Arts). Thank you to Dr. Paeng for finding safe and affordable accommodation to let our children a good opportunity once in their life. Thanks for some support to Ajarn Chai Bundit, Achan Damri from Silpakorn University and the Kalaya Institute of Music for helping to create such activities.
